Photos or videos taken by the Company may not be altered, edited, or shared without crediting StrayDogs Training, LLC.
Training videos that show proprietary instruction may not be publicly posted.

Refund Policy

REFUND POLICY

1. Purpose

This Refund Policy (“Policy”) outlines the circumstances under which payments made to StrayDogs Training, LLC (“Company,” “we,” “our,” “us”) may be refunded. This Policy applies to all Services provided by the Company, including but not limited to private lessons, behavioral consultations, Canine Camp programs, and Boarding services.

All Clients (“Client,” “you,” “your”) agree to this Policy upon booking or purchasing any Service.


2. General Policy – All Sales Final

2.1 Non-Refundable Payments.
All payments made to the Company are non-refundable, regardless of whether the Client:
(a) Cancels;
(b) Chooses to discontinue Services;
(c) Fails to attend or participate;
(d) Experiences schedule changes or conflicts;
(e) Is removed from a program due to safety or behavioral concerns.

2.2 Reason for Policy.
The Company invests time, scheduling resources, preparation, travel, materials, and reserved training/boarding space for every Client. Because of this advanced commitment, all purchases are final.


3. Private Lessons

3.1 Payment.
Payment for private lessons is due in full at the time of booking unless an alternative arrangement is explicitly approved in writing.

3.2 Cancellations & Missed Lessons.
(a) Lessons canceled with at least 24 hours’ notice may be rescheduled.
(b) Lessons canceled without 24 hours’ notice are forfeited.
(c) Two missed lessons without prior approval result in removal from the program with no refund.
(d) If the dog’s legal decision-maker is not present at the lesson, the session will be canceled and treated as a non-approved missed lesson.

3.3 Transfers.
Unused lessons may be transferred to another program of equal or greater value, provided that:
(a) The transfer is requested before the program expires;
(b) The Client pays any price difference between programs.


4. Canine Camp (Board & Train)

4.1 Deposits.
The $400 deposit is non-refundable and required to reserve the Client’s start date.

4.2 Remaining Balance.
The remaining balance is due at—or before—drop-off unless alternative arrangements are approved in writing.

4.3 Cancellations.
(a) Canceling a reserved spot forfeits the deposit.
(b) Canceling within 14 days of the start date results in full payment due.
(c) Program removal due to behavior, safety, or health concerns does not qualify for a refund.

4.4 Extensions or Program Changes.
If a dog requires additional training beyond the purchased program:
(a) Training will pause;
(b) The Trainer will notify the Client;
(c) Additional training will only resume if the Client agrees to the extension and submits payment for any upgraded program or additional weeks.

4.5 Transfers.
Client may transfer to another program of equal or greater value if approved prior to the start date. Price differences must be paid.


5. Boarding Services

5.1 Payment.
Boarding fees are due at booking unless otherwise approved in writing.

5.2 Cancellations.
(a) Cancellations made with at least 72 hours’ notice may be rescheduled but not refunded.
(b) Cancellations made with less than 72 hours’ notice are forfeited.

5.3 Behavioral or Health-Based Early Removal.
If a dog must be picked up early due to behavior, health, or safety concerns, no refund will be issued.

5.4 Food Shortages.
If a dog runs out of food during a boarding stay, the Company will purchase food and charge the Client at cost.


6. No Guarantee of Results

Dog training is influenced by genetics, temperament, environment, and owner consistency.
No specific outcome is guaranteed, and refunds will not be issued based on perceived results, training progress, or Client expectations.


7. Client-Initiated Discontinuation

If the Client chooses to stop training or boarding before Services are completed, no refund or partial refund will be issued. Unused Services expire.


8. Medical or Emergency Situations

If the dog is unable to participate due to illness, injury, or medical emergency:
(a) Services may be rescheduled;
(b) No refund will be issued;
(c) Veterinary records may be required;
(d) The Trainer may determine whether Services can continue safely.


9. Transfers of Payment

Funds may be transferred to another program of equal or greater value at the Company’s discretion.
Price differences must be paid by the Client.

Transfers are not guaranteed and must be approved in writing.


10. Chargebacks and Payment Disputes

Initiating a chargeback or payment dispute without first communicating with the Company is a violation of this Policy.
The Company reserves the right to:
(a) Provide documentation to the payment processor;
(b) Decline future services;
(c) Pursue recovery of funds, fees, or damages.

Training Policies

TRAINING POLICIES

1. Purpose

These Training Policies (“Policies”) outline the requirements, expectations, and procedures for all in-person training Services provided by StrayDogs Training, LLC (“Company,” “Trainer,” “we,” “our”). These Policies apply to all Clients who participate in private lessons, evaluations, consultations, or any other in-person training Services (“Services”).


2. Vaccination and Health Requirements

2.1 Required Vaccinations.
All dogs participating in Services must be current on the following vaccinations:
(a) Rabies;
(b) DHPP (Distemper, Hepatitis, Parvovirus, Parainfluenza);
(c) Bordetella.

2.2 Recommended Preventatives.
The Company strongly recommends that dogs be maintained on appropriate flea, tick, and heartworm preventatives and be vaccinated for Leptospirosis.

2.3 Proof of Vaccination.
Proof of required vaccinations must be provided upon request. The Trainer may decline or discontinue Services if proof is not provided or if vaccinations are incomplete.

2.4 Health Requirements.
Dogs must arrive healthy and free of contagious illness, parasites, or conditions that may impact training or safety.

2.5 Clean Fecal Test Requirement.
A clean fecal test is required for all dogs participating in Canine Camp and Boarding Services. The fecal test must have been completed within the past twelve (12) months and must show the dog is free from parasites, including but not limited to giardia, hookworms, roundworms, whipworms, and coccidia.
Dogs with a known history of parasitic infection must provide a clean fecal test completed within the past six (6) months.
The Trainer may request updated fecal results at any time if symptoms of illness or parasitic infection are observed. Private lesson Clients are not required to provide a fecal test unless requested by the Trainer for safety or health reasons.


3. Behavior Disclosure

3.1 Required Disclosure.
Clients must fully disclose any known behavior concerns, including but not limited to aggression, fear, reactivity, anxiety, resource guarding, prior bites, or behavioral medication.

3.2 Removal for Non-Disclosure.
Failure to disclose behavior history may result in immediate removal from the program without refund.

3.3 Trainer Assessment.
The Trainer may refuse or discontinue Services if the dog exhibits behavior that presents safety concerns for the dog, the Client, the Trainer, or others.


4. Training Tools

4.1 Approved Tools.
The Company uses a variety of industry-standard training tools selected based on safety and individual dog needs, including but not limited to:
(a) Slip leads;
(b) Prong collars;
(c) Remote collars;
(d) Long lines;
(e) Muzzles;
(f) Crates;
(g) Head halters;
(h) Clickers;
(i) Food rewards.

4.2 Trainer Discretion.
Tool selection is determined by the Trainer and may be adjusted based on safety, progress, or training goals.

4.3 Client Participation.
Clients may be asked to use certain tools during or between sessions. Failure to use required tools may affect training progress and the Trainer’s ability to continue Services.


5. Owner or Authorized Decision-Maker Attendance

5.1 Attendance Requirement.
For all in-person lessons, an adult Client or an authorized decision-maker must be physically present for the entire session.

5.2 Failure to Attend.
If no authorized individual is present, the lesson will be canceled and treated as a non-approved missed lesson under the Refund & Cancellation Policy.


6. Training Environment and Safety

6.1 Training Location.
Lessons may be conducted in the Client’s home, in public spaces, or at locations selected by the Trainer based on training goals.

6.2 Safety Priority.
Safety is the highest priority. The Trainer may modify or terminate a session if the environment presents a risk to the dog, the Client, or the Trainer.

6.3 Trainer Discretion.
The Trainer may stop or reschedule a session if the dog becomes overly stressed, reactive, or unsafe to handle. Sessions stopped for safety will not be refunded.


7. Client Responsibilities

7.1 Practice Between Sessions.
Clients are responsible for practicing recommended exercises consistently between sessions.

7.2 Training Assignments.
Clients will receive homework, management guidelines, or written instructions as needed. Failure to complete assignments may lead to slower progress.

7.3 Timeliness.
Clients must be ready at the scheduled appointment time. Delayed starts may shorten the lesson duration.

7.4 Equipment.
The Client must provide any required dog equipment unless otherwise arranged with the Trainer.


8. No Guarantee of Results

8.1 Individual Variation.
Training outcomes depend on many factors, including but not limited to genetics, environment, temperament, and Client participation.

8.2 No Warranties.
The Company does not guarantee specific results or behavior outcomes.


9. Media and Documentation

9.1 Training Documentation (Mandatory).
The Trainer may capture photos or videos for internal training documentation, progress tracking, or safety purposes.

9.2 Use for Public Marketing (Optional).
Public use of photos or videos requires Client consent, which may be revoked at any time. Additional terms are detailed in the Media Release.

These actions may be taken for any safety-related reason, including but not limited to aggressive behavior, illness, environmental hazards, or Client non-compliance.

No refund will be issued in such cases.


8. No Guarantee of Results

Dog training involves factors beyond the Trainer’s control, including genetics, environment, health, prior experiences, and Client follow-through.
The Company does not guarantee specific results or outcomes.


9. Assumption of Risk

By participating in Services, the Client acknowledges:

(a) Dogs may behave unpredictably;
(b) Injury to persons, animals, or property may occur;
(c) Participation involves inherent risk.

The Client voluntarily assumes all risks associated with training, handling, transportation, or housing of the Dog.


10. Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Company is not liable for:

(a) Injuries to the Dog;
(b) Injuries caused by the Dog;
(c) Damage caused by the Dog;
(d) Property loss or damage;
(e) Illness, stress, or behavioral regression;
(f) Consequential, incidental, or punitive damages.

The Client remains fully responsible for the Dog’s behavior during and after Services.


11. Indemnification
